With Wii Game Studio, you can make all sorts of 2-dimensional games for the Nintendo Wii with just a PC running Windows and an SD Card.

Despite its simplicity and the ease with which games can be made, Wii Game Studio allows you to create very sophisticated and complex masterpieces to show off to you friends.

Wii Game Studio comes in two editions, Standard and Pro. The Standard Edition is free and can be obtained from the download page. The Pro Edition costs a mere $9.99.

• Installing the Homebrew Channel

The Homebrew Channel is what lets you play the games you have made on the Wii. This tutorial explains how to put this channel on your Wii. After you have done this, you can play your games by putting them on an SD card in the folder apps/Your_Game/boot.dol
